many congratulations, paris! i will also be getting married in new york (and honeymooning in france) this summer. so much beautiful inspiration in here, especially all the *french* things <3
Congratulations! Everything about your Civil Ceremony seemed so special and well-curated. Each little detail had so much meaning. I love following along on your page and didn't even realize Théo was French (although his name does give it away). My boyfriend is French and I adore their culture so this post is lovely for education + inspo. for a future potential wedding. <3
Congratulations!! You both looked fabulous and your outfit (and all the effort you put into it / research from the 60s) is inspiring! The sown on lilies of the valley = genius!
Félicitations !!! I’m an American who lives in France and I just got married here in June. I love that France has the civil ceremony requirement—there is something so much more romantic about it than the town hall ceremonies in the US. Maybe it’s because they’re saying your marital rights in a more melodic language? Or maybe it’s the part where the mayor kisses you (and ours read us Edith Piaf lyrics).
I loooove every detail of your outfit and all of the heart you two put into this beautiful celebration. A lifetime of love is headed your way.❣️
thank you for sharing your experience. i agree, i love how personalized the officiant tries to make the ceremony and how serious the vows are - i am a jealous hearing about your experience though, we did not receive a kiss or piaf lyrics!
