i’m sorry to spam your inbox, but do you remember that big-pan pancake recipe i sent out a few days ago? well, i have a bonus recipe tied to that one - and i’m sending it out in a separate email because it really deserves some attention.
imagine: the big leavened pan-pancake gets topped with spiced sugar and then placed in a pool of vanilla anglaise. it reminds me so much of an excellent warm cinnamon sugar donut – and i love it. i am already planning to make it again tomorrow for brunch. and then after that i am dreaming up a breakfast for dinner-party and thinking of serving it for dessert with a scoop of ice cream on top. the idea of the hot tender pancake, with the spicy crunchy sugar, and the cold creamy ice cream is sending shivers down my spine!
